ORDINANCE NO. 7S(07,-) - "-- <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $177, 000 <br /> FROM THE LIABILITY INSURANCE PREMIUM AND RESERVE <br /> FUND TO ACCOUNT 324 . 0 IN THE AMOUNT OF $47, 000 <br /> AND ACCOUNT 391 . 0 IN THE AMOUNT OF $130, 000, BOTH <br /> ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE SELF-INSURANCE DEPARTMENT <br /> BUDGET. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The City of South Bend has, during 1985, experienced a large <br /> increase in insurance premiums, an increased level of claims settled and a <br /> fire loss currently in litigation; <br /> NOW-, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The following sums of money are hereby <br /> appropriated as set forth below: <br /> 342 . 0 Insurance Premiums $ 47, 000. 00 <br /> 391 . 0 Refunds, Awards, Indemnities 130,000. 00 <br /> TOTAL $177, 000. 00 <br /> SECTION II.
