ORDINANCE NO. —1 (g, -7— AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $13, 000. 00 FROM THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board of Managers . The Century Center Board of Managers has determined that it is necessary for the operation of the Morris Civic Auditorium that the stage decking and the orchestra pit cover be replaced and repaired and that the movie projection and screening improvements be completed . The Board of Managers has further determined that an estimated cost for the purchase of such items is $13, 000. 00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The amount of $13, 000. 00 is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund to be used as follows : PURPOSE AMOUNT Stage Decking $9, 200. 00 Orchestra Pit Cover 800. 00 Completion of Projection Equipment 3, 000. 00 TOTAL $13, 000. 00 SECTION II.
