Route 14 Western (SR 2) from City Limits (Pine Rd) to Michigan St . <br /> Michigan St . from Western to City Limits (Johnson Road) <br /> Route 15 U.S. 31-33 (Michigan St . ) from the North City Limits <br /> (Rhodes) to the South City Limits (Johnson Road) <br /> (2) Trucks traveling from a point outside the City through <br /> the City to a point outside the City shall enter the City and <br /> proceed to the point within the City which is their destination in <br /> accordance with the shortest combination of State or Federal <br /> highways, City truck routes as shown upon a map entitled "Schedule <br /> A-1" . <br /> (3) Trucks traveling from a point outside the <br /> City to a point within the City limits shall follow State or <br /> national highways , City truck routes as shown on "Schedule A-1" <br /> from the point upon such routes which is nearest to their point of <br /> beginning . They shall not travel upon any other public streets of <br /> the City, except as provided in this article . <br /> ( 4) Trucks traveling from a point within the City <br /> limits to a point outside the City limits shall proceed from the <br /> point within the City, which is their starting point, to the City <br /> limits by the shortest combination of State and Federal highways , <br /> City truck routes shown upon "Schedule A-1 ." <br /> ( 5) Trucks traveling from a point within the City limits to <br /> another point within the City limits shall proceed from the point <br /> within the City which is their starting point, to the nearest truck <br /> route or State and Federal highway, as shown upon "Schedule A-1." <br /> 20-108. Restrictions . <br /> (a) No person shall drive truck upon any public streets <br /> not designated as a truck route in "Schedule A-1" of the City at <br /> any time ; provided that such trucks may be permitted upon such <br /> other public streets of the City, upon the direction of a City or <br /> State police officer, to follow a marked and established City <br /> detour, or to obtain necessary emergency mechanical repairs . <br /> ( b) All trucks as defined in this article shall proceed by <br /> the shortest combination of State and Federal highways , City truck <br /> routes shown upon "Schedule A-1," and shall be prohibited from <br /> driving upon any other City streets unless said vehicle is in the <br /> process of delivering or picking up goods . A written bill of <br /> lading or similar document must be produced by the driver if <br /> stopped while driving on a City street which is not designated as a <br /> City truck route as shown in "Schedule A-1," or detour route to <br /> verify such pickup or delivery. <br /> ( c) All trucks within the City as defined in this article <br /> when finished delivering or picking up goods shall return to the <br /> nearest truck route by the most direct route . This includes such <br /> trucks which have additional destinations within the City. <br /> Shortcuts on non-truck routes are expressly prohibited . <br /> (d) No person shall stop, stand or park a truck as <br /> defined in this article on any street, other than for the <br /> expeditious loading or unloading of freight, except in cases of <br /> emergency when such truck is broken down and unable to move , and <br /> except also in the event a moving van is loading or unloading <br />
