Therefore, Safety sensitive employees include; <br />1. All Project Managers. <br />2. All Foremen. <br />3. All Production Employees, including warehouse employees. <br />4. All operators of Trisco Systems, Inc., owned vehicles at any time. <br />5. All operators driving any other vehicle on Company business or during Company <br />time. <br />6. All clerical, secretarial, and administrative employees. <br />The authority for DOT drivers' drug and alcohol testing is derived from the Omnibus <br />Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991 and is conducted in accordance with the U.S. <br />Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Procedures Rules: 49 CFR Part 40. <br />The remainder of Trisco Systems Inc., employees are designated Safety -sensitive Employees by <br />Company policy. <br />Procedures for Notifying Covered Employees <br />This AMPP shall be included in the appropriate Trisco Systems, Inc. Manual. Upon receipt of <br />the Trisco Systems, Inc.'s AMPP, each manager shall post the plan in a prominent location that <br />is readily accessible to all covered employees. All covered employees will be provided a <br />complete copy of the AMPP plan. The entire plan may also be obtained at a later time for review <br />by an employee. <br />Criteria for Employee Notification <br />General Criteria: <br />Trisco Systems, Inc. shall provide written educational materials explaining the alcohol misuse <br />requirements and Trisco Systems, Inc.'s policies and procedures on how they will comply with <br />those requirements. Trisco Systems, Inc. will distribute to each covered employee prior to the <br />start of alcohol testing and to each person subsequently hired/transferred to perform covered <br />functions. <br />Required Information: <br />Trisco Systems, Inc. shall provide written materials to all covered employees that shall include <br />detailed information and discussion of the following elements: <br />1. Name of Trisco Systems, Inc. representative designated to answer questions for <br />covered employees about the alcohol regulations. (See Appendix A) <br />2. List of categories of covered employees who are subject to the alcohol <br />regulations. (See Appendix B for a listing of employee/supervisory job <br />classifications/titles) <br />35 <br />
