32 <br />All current employees will have an opportunity to review and copy the policy, and all new <br />employees will have it reviewed with them within 5 working days upon commencement of work. <br /> <br />A copy of the Company’s Drugs, Narcotics, and Alcohol Policy shall be kept current and may be <br />reviewed at the administrative office by contacting the Trisco Systems, Inc. Supervisor. <br /> <br />Conclusion <br /> <br />This Drugs, Narcotics, and Alcohol Policy is for informational purposes only and does not create <br />an employment contract. The management of Trisco Systems, Inc. is committed to reviewing its <br />policies continually; therefore, the policies outlined here are subject to review and change at any <br />time. <br /> <br /> <br />Alcohol Misuse Prevention Policy (AMPP) <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />Statement of Policy <br /> <br />1 Trisco Systems, Inc. has a long standing commitment to maintain the highest <br />standards for employee safety and health and to help prevent accident and injury <br />resulting from the misuse of alcohol by employees. <br />2 In addition, Trisco Systems, Inc. must comply with all Department of <br />Transportation regulations and other regulations which require affirmative actions <br />to eliminate the impact of the misuse of alcohol in the workplace. The purpose of <br />the alcohol misuse prevention plan is to reduce accidents that result from the <br />misuse of alcohol, thereby reducing fatalities, injuries, and property damage. <br />3 The use or possession of alcoholic beverages while on Company property, in any <br />Company vehicle, or on Company time, including breaks or lunch, paid or unpaid, <br />is strictly prohibited. <br />4 The Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan contained herein sets forth the requirements <br />of 49 CFR Part 40 and Part 382. Trisco Systems, Inc. reserves the right to <br />independent authority to require additional provisions (included here) with regard <br />to alcohol testing procedures. <br /> <br />Implementation of Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan (AMPP) <br /> <br />1 Trisco Systems, Inc. has implemented the Federal Highway Administration <br />Alcohol Regulations as set forth in 49 CFR Part 382, Subparts A thru F, and the <br />Department of Transportation, Procedures for Transportation Workplace Alcohol <br />Testing Programs as set forth in 49 CFR Part 40, Subpart C. <br />2 The privacy and confidentiality of any covered employee subject to this plan will <br />be maintained at all times. <br />3 Implementation of the Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan is effective January 1, <br />1995 for Large Supervisors with more than 50 covered employees.
