The soil borings will indicate the nature of the in situ material as well <br />as the presence of ground water within 10 feet of the surface. A City permit <br />application will be submitted for the work. <br />6. A letter report summarizing the findings of the soil borings will be prepared and <br />submitted to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />D. Permits: <br />1. A Construction Stormwater General Permit will be prepared for the project. <br />2. A Water Main NOI will be prepared for the project. <br />3. A Sanitary Sewer permit is not included in the scope of this project. <br /> <br /> <br />E. Project Design: <br />1. The project will be designed and constructed in two separate phases. Phase I will <br />include Notre Dame Avenue from South Bend Avenue to Angela Boulevard. Phase II <br />will include Hill Street and South Bend Avenue. Project limits include: <br />a. Notre Dame Avenue from the north side of the intersection with South Bend <br />Avenue north to the south side of the intersection with Angela Street. (Phase I) <br />b. Hill Street from the north side of the intersection with LaSalle Street north to South <br />Bend Avenue. (Phase II) <br />c. South Bend Avenue from Hill Street northeast to the southwest side of the <br />intersection of Notre Dame Avenue. (Phase II) <br />2. Design and plans will be prepared to include complete road reconstruction with a <br />new multi-use trail, new storm sewer, replacement of existing water main and services, <br />conduits for ChoiceLight, landscaping, lighting, pavement marking and signage. <br />3. Each street will be reconstructed with the typical section as previously determined. <br />The typical section shall generally be: <br />a. Hill Street: 10 foot driving lanes with 8 foot parking lanes, and curb and gutter. The <br />west side will include a tree lawn and 11 foot multi-use trail. The east side will <br />include a tree lawn and 5 foot sidewalk. <br />b. South Bend Avenue: 10 foot driving lanes with 8 foot parking lanes, and curb and <br />gutter. The north side will include a tree lawn and 10 foot multi-use trail. The south <br />side will include a tree lawn and 5 foot sidewalk. The typical section may be <br />adjusted to avoid existing power poles as necessary. Utility coordination will <br />include discussions with AEP to determine the if the poles are able to be relocated. <br />c. Notre Dame Avenue: 10 foot driving lanes with 8 foot parking lanes, and curb and <br />gutter. The west side will include an extended tree lawn and 5 foot sidewalk. The <br />east side will include a tree lawn, 10 foot bike lane and a 5 foot sidewalk separated <br />by a landscaped buffer. <br />4. Provide design of a bumpout at the intersection of LaSalle Street and Doctor MLK Jr <br />Blvd. Provide design of a trailhead at Gwen Stiver Park at the southeast corner of this
