INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />TO: Clerk and Members of the Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Kieran Fahey, Director long-term control plan <br />SUBJECT: Recommendation for Selection of Guaranteed Savings Contract Provider for <br />WWTP improvements to satisfy Federal Consent Decree project requirement <br />DATE: 7/31/2023 <br />On behalf of the review committee, I would like to recommend the provider for the WWTP <br />improvements Project (Guaranteed Savings Contract) be Bowen Engineering Corporation. <br />After careful review of evaluations from the review committee based upon all submissions to the <br />Request for Qualifications, Bowen Engineering Corporation was chosen by collaborative scoring <br />by the review committee as per the RFQ. <br />Bowen Engineering Corporation offers a strong portfolio of successful local government <br />performance water and wastewater guaranteed savings contracts in Indiana. <br />We ask that the Board of Public Works ratify the recommendation of the review committee and <br />authorize us to negotiate an agreement to develop the guaranteed savings project, which will <br />come to the board for approval at a later date. <br />Enc.
