Public Hearing <br />(1) continued... <br />two females, thank God for that, but anyway, <br />I just wanted to bring this to your attention <br />because I just couldn't agree more with the <br />individuals that got up here had to say. And <br />Marty over there hit the nail on the head, he <br />was there before and he's going to be there <br />tomorrow and tomorrow. Because we are <br />going to be back again and back again, but I <br />speak for the people who call me and talk to <br />me and the meetings I have and everything, <br />and they think this is a complete farce on the <br />tax payers. We've got to pay our bills. We <br />have to pay our police and fire, our library <br />bills and we had to pay everything else. I am <br />glad you are a female, two females (Mrs. <br />Jones interjected with, "I am too.") <br />SARA STEWART UZELAC: I have <br />property on the Studebaker corridor, I have a <br />community garden, so I am not here as a <br />resident, I am just here to discuss the <br />community garden, some of what Marty said <br />about community development. I think one <br />thing, when we have this kind of dissidence, <br />it is helpful to put everyone back together <br />and say, none of us would be here, you all <br />wouldn't be serving this way, you all <br />wouldn't be here if we aren't all committed <br />to making our community better. And that is <br />what brings us all here. There are tons of <br />people at home not doing that and so for that, <br />I think we are all on the same page. How to <br />do it becomes a little bit desparate. And one <br />thing I have learned, as a college graduate <br />student right now, is that when you want to <br />do research and good research, good <br />28 <br />
