Payment shall constitute labor, materials, and incidentals to complete the work in place. <br /> <br />XXXIV. STRUCTURE BACKFILL FOR PERFORATED PIPE <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Public Works, 2022 INDOT <br />Standard Specifications Section 211 <br />B. Additions: <br />1. Perforated pipes shall be backfilled as shown on plan construction details and as described by <br />the City’s standards and specifications and all standard drawings thereto. <br />2. Method of Measurement: As described by INDOT Standard Specifications section 211.09 and <br />211.10, expect aggregate shall be No. 8 and No. 53 as specified in plans. <br />3. The cost of structure backfill around the pipes shall not be paid for separately but shall be <br />incidental to the cost of the Structure, Dry Well, 1800 Gal. <br /> <br /> <br />XXXV. AGGREGATE, NO. 8 <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Public Works Section 3-3 and <br />all applicable standard drawings <br />B. Additions: <br />1. No. 8 aggregate used for perforated drywell shall be installed as shown on plans details and <br />described in the City’s Standards and Specifications <br />2. No. 8 aggregate used for perforated pipes shall be incidental to structure backfill for perforated <br />pipes as described herein this special provision. <br />3. The cost of aggregate No. 8 around the pipes and drywell shall not be paid for separately but <br />shall be incidental to the cost of the Structure, Dry Well, 1800 Gal. <br /> <br />XXXVI. M/WBE GOALS <br />A. Pursuant to City of South Bend Ordinance No. 10761-21, Minority and Women Business Enterprise <br />Inclusion Program Plan, if Total Quote Amount is greater than $50,000 the project will be subject to <br />the M/WBE goals set in XX.C. If Total Quote amount is less than or equal to $50,000, M/WBE goals <br />will not apply. <br /> <br />B.
