COMMON EXCAVATION & BORROW <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: 2022, INDOT Standard Specifications Section 203.02 <br />B. Additions: <br />1. The Contractor shall field verify location of all utilities prior to beginning work. <br />2. The Contractor shall keep all public roadways that are used for hauling excavation or borrow <br />material clean and free of any spillage of material. Said public roadways shall be cleaned on a <br />daily basis. The cost of removal of any spillage shall be included in the cost of excavation or <br />borrow material and no further compensation will be provided. Failure to comply with this <br />requirement will result in a cleaning of the spillage by the Owner with a back charge of $250 per <br />occurrence. <br />XXVIII. Additions: <br />1. Structures and castings shall be of the size and type as identified in accordance with City and <br />other cited standards. <br />2. Precast concrete sections shall conform to ASTM C-478 for round structures and ASTM C-913 <br />for any circular structures. <br />3. Aggregate No. 53 used under each drywell shall be incidental to furnishing and installing a <br />drywell structure and will not be paid separately. <br />4. The water used to surcharge drywells prior to pavement placement shall be incidental to <br />furnishing and installation of a drywell. <br />5.
