PUBLI AGENDA SESSION <br />MAY 22, 2008 <br />'he Public Agenda Session of the Board of Public Works was convened at 10:35 a.m. on May <br />22., 2,00 , by Board President Mr. nary A. Oilot, with Board Members Carl P. Littrell and <br />Bornald E. Inks present. Also present was Board Attorney Cheryl Greene. Board of Public Works <br />- 'ley k. Linda M. Martin, presented the Board with a proposed agenda of items presented by the <br />nnnblic and by City Staff. <br />Board n;iernbers discussed the following items from that list. <br />Ldditionns to the Agenda <br />Mr. Gilot noted the addition to the agenda of a Construction Contract for signature for the <br />Century Center Boiler Replacement, and an Agreement with the Community <br />Hernnebuyer's Corporation. <br />Contract - Norfolk Southern Railroad <br />lair. Dave Tungate, Water Works, stated he was requesting approval of an Environmental <br />Right of Entry Agreement for Norfolk Southern Railway's property at 701 West <br />Chippewa Avenue, for installing a monitoring well. Mr, Littrell stated that the railroad <br />had abandoned this property, and no longer owned it. Ids. Greene noted that this would <br />(need to be cleared up before the regular meeting of the Board. <br />Safety Report Central Services <br />Ms. Mary ` isniewski, Central Services, presented her division's Safety Report for the <br />month of April. <br />( - -) PENING OF BIDS — EDDY STREET COMMONS PHASE 3 — UTILITIES — PROJECT NO <br />108 - 0058 (TIF� <br />his wa,s the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to project. <br />`1 -ie Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News, which were found to be sufficient.
