INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br />TO: Board of Public Works <br />Theresa Heffner, Clerk <br />FROM: Leslie Biek, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Reject Bids and Rebid <br />122-013-LaSalle Streetscape <br />DATE: March 14, 2023 <br />On December 20, 2022 the Board of Public Works opened and read into record one (1) bid for <br />the above project. <br />The bids results are as follows: <br />Base Bid: <br /> TOTAL <br />HRP Construction Inc. $7,395,000.00 <br />Upon review of the bid package, it is recommended the Board of Public Works reject all bids due <br />to it exceeding the available budget and re-bid in accordance with IC 36-1-12-4. The project <br />scope will be modified to reduce the estimated cost for construction. The project will be <br />readvertised on 3/31/23 and 4/7/23 and bids will be due at the 4/25/2023 Board of Public Works <br />meeting. <br />Thank you for your consideration of this request. <br />March 14, 2023
