Voll, PE <br />Senior Transportation Engineer <br />CONTACT INFORMATION: <br /> (574) 232-4388 <br /> mvoll@jpr1source.com <br />With over 12 years of roadway design experience, Michael has played <br />a critical role in numerous INDOT and LPA projects throughout the <br />state. He has managed or designed numerous pedestrian-related <br />projects. This experience provides the knowledge to bring new ideas <br />to the forefront while identifying and mitigating any challenges that arise. <br />Michael understands the best way to manage risk is by being accessible <br />during a project. This accessibility to the project team, as well as the City of <br />South Bend, will ensure deadlines and budgets are met while documenting <br />everything thoroughly. Finally, as a new member to the JPR family, <br />Michael will be able to dedicate all of his time to the success of the <br />project if selected. <br /> RELATED PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Safe Routes to Schools for the <br />City of Valparaiso, Indiana <br />Project Engineer for design and construction <br />documents for two Safe Route to Schools (SRTS) <br />projects. This included approximately 4,015 feet of <br />new sidewalks for Cook’s Corner Elementary school <br />and 4,500 feet of new sidewalks for Memorial <br />Elementary School. <br />ADA Intersection Improvements for the <br />City of Goshen, Indiana <br />Project Engineer for the design of ADA improve- <br />ments in accordance with PROWAG guidelines for <br />7 intersections. Improvements included new curb <br />ramps, replacing sidewalk, and the addition or <br />modification of pedestrian push button locations. <br />US 40 HMA Overlay and Curb Ramps in <br />Dublin and Cambridge City for INDOT, <br />Greenfield District, Des. 1700814 <br />Engineer for the design of 1.5-inch milling and <br />1.5-inch HMA resurface for the mainline, shoulders, <br />and turning lanes for 3.23 miles of US 40. The <br />project also included the redesign of 91 curb ramps <br />at 34 intersections and five traffic signals to replace <br />detection loops. <br />SR 933 Multi-Use Path for <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Project Engineer for a multi-use path along 0.75 <br />miles of SR 933. The project included moving the <br />curb line of SR 933 to provide room for an 8-foot <br />multi-use path and new guardrail separation for <br />pedestrian and motorist safety. Responsibilities <br />included geometric, MOT, curb ramp, and drainage <br />design for the length of the corridor. <br />Fairfield Avenue Streetscape for <br />Fort Wayne, Indiana <br />Project Manager for a streetscape project along <br />Fairfield Avenue, from Walnut Street to Locust <br />Street. The project included the reconstruction <br />of curb, sidewalk, curb ramps, and streetscape <br />amenities to meet Fort Wayne and ADA standards. <br />As part of the project, several drainage issues were <br />also resolved.
