<br /> <br /> ENGINEERING • ARCHITECTURE • LAND SURVEYING <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />Vision <br />The purpose of this project is to enhance the connectivity and <br />access to Kennedy School by reconstructing intersection ramps <br />and sidewalk systems to allow barrier free usage for all citizens. <br />The resulting improvements will increase mobility, ADA <br />Accessibility and safety for students and pedestrians. <br /> <br />Expertise <br />The project is being funded through the Safe Routes to School <br />program. The Grant funds 80 percent of the project cost with the <br />other funds coming from the City. Due to the funding source, the <br />project is an LPA project and must follow INDOT procedures for <br />design, property acquisition, environmental and construction <br />inspection. INDOT is demanding in the requirements for these type of projects. Abonmarche is experienced in <br />dealing with these type of projects and has completed multiple within the City of South Bend and surrounding <br />communities. Our team will work with City staff to navigate the guidelines and complete a successful project <br />the City can be proud of. <br /> <br />Trusted Partners <br />The City is seeking a partner for the project that has their best interest in mind. A consultant that will maximize <br />the value of the dollars allotted for the project to give South Bend the best project possible. Between the <br />three owners, there is over 100 years of title insurance and escrow residential and commercial closing experience. <br />METROPOLITAN TITLE OF INDIANA, LLC <br />ASC has been conducting environmental surveys in the state of Indiana since 1989 and we have completed more <br />than 600 projects there. ASC is a certified DBE/WBE and is prequalified with the Indiana Department of <br />Transportation to provide the following environmental service: 5.2. <br />ASC GROUP, INC. <br />With over 47 years of Civil Engineering experience, Roger is responsible for quality <br />control of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. As the lead <br />engineer, he directs the engineering design, land surveying and planning studies <br />to successfully complete civil engineering projects. Roger performs client <br />relations, quality control and quality assurance on infrastructure projects from <br />proposal development through construction.
