The City of South Bend Safe Routes to School: Kennedy School Des No. 2201237 3 <br />Project Manager <br />Landon Grogg, EI : Project Manager, Team Leader | 9 Years <br />BS, Civil Engineering | State of Indiana Engineering Intern <br />Landon is a Vice President of A&Z Engineering, LLC, and has proven, time and again, exceptional ability to coordinate the efforts of <br />multiple entities for projects like The City of South Bend’s Safe Routes to School (SRTS) for the Kennedy School. For project stake- <br />holders, like The City and the Kennedy School, Landon will serve as the main point of contact and will host a scoping meeting, provide <br />regular updates, and work to make the vision to reality. <br />He will also be in charge of organizing the effort of our team: A&Z Engineering, our subconsultants, and contractors. By keeping the <br />wheels in motion and paying close attention to the Kennedy School’s calendar, Landon will ensure that the SRTS project flows seamlessly through <br />its various stages. While schedule and budget are of great importance, Landon is also focused on quality and innovation. Land on has worked on <br />SRTS projects and numerous other projects with similar purpose and scope. He knows the various technologies that help ensure safety and lon- <br />gevity of the project. Community connectivity and accessibility is his specialty. <br />Landon’s Relevant Project Management Experience <br />Stellar Sidewalks and Trail Project: Woodburn, IN | $1.2M Const. Cost | Pedestrian connectivity improvements throughout the city by devel- <br />oping a system of sidewalk and trail routes and ADA upgrades. <br /> <br />Safe Routes to School: Angola, IN | $250K Const. Cost | Comprehensive travel plan and design for pedestrian travel to school. Multiple SRTS <br />completed for this town throughout the years that includes connectivity from multiple neighborhoods to elementary, middle, and high schools. <br />Stellar Sidewalks and Trail: Monroeville, IN| $1M Est. Const. Cost. | This consists of three separate projects addressing the design of an <br />active transportation system throughout the Town. When completed, the Town will be equipped with interconnected 8’-10’ HMA trails and side- <br />walks complete with a new pedestrian bridge over Flat Rock Creek. This project also includes new curb ramps, driveway reconstruction, pedestri- <br />an railroad crossings, site restoration, and minor storm sewer improvements. <br />E. Albion St. and Albion St. Improvements: Avilla, IN | $1.4 Const. Cost (Phases I and II) | This corridor in Avilla was completed as two sepa- <br />rate projects using funding from the Community Crossings Matching Grant program and included milling and resurfacing of roadway in addition to <br />new curb and gutter, sidewalks, curb ramps, driveway reconstruction. <br />Ley St. Roadway and Water Main Replacement: Avilla, IN | $.93 M Est. Const. Cost | New sidewalks, curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, and <br />driveway reconstruction were included with roadway resurfacing and milling and replacement of 6” and 8” water main and storm sewer improve- <br />ments/restoration. <br />Green Rd. Improvements: New Haven, IN | $2.66M Const. Cost (Phases I & II) In addition to roadway reconstruction and widening, pedestrian <br />facilities will be improved with new curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, driveway reconstruction, and restoration of and improvements to <br />storm sewer. <br />Meadowbrook Trail: New Haven, IN | $.93M Est. Const. Cost | Design and construction of new 10’ asphalt trail and 8’ concrete sidewalk to build <br />upon the Town’s active transportation facilities. New concrete curb face walk and curb ramps along with driveway reconstruction along with storm <br />sewer improvements.
