,~---- -. <br />.. <br />. • .;, <br />COLE ASSOCIATES INC. 2211 E JEFFERSON BOULEVARD SOUTH BEND, INDIANA46615 <br />March 12, 1990 <br />~~~ REVISED April 19, 1990_ <br />City of South Bend . <br />Redevelopment Commission <br />County-City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Attention: Mr. Jon Hunt <br />Re: Architectura l/Engineering Services <br />Gentlemen: <br />.Cole Associates Inc. is pleased to submit for your consideration, the <br />.following letter agreement as it relates to Architectural/Engineering <br />Services for the Airport Economic Development Area Master Plan. <br />ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS <br />1.1 This agreement is entered into as of the ~-o~day of --CC~~' ' <br />1990 between the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of <br />Economic Development, hereinafter called the Owner and Cole <br />Associates Inc., 2211 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, <br />Indiana, hereinafter called the Architect/Engineer (A/E). <br />• 1.2 The Owner employs the A/E to perform professional design services; <br />to serve as the Owner's professional design representative; and to <br />provide professional consultation and advise, for the fees stated <br />in Article 11, in connection with the Basic Services outlined in <br />Article 2, or any .other services and fees included in Article 12. <br />ARTICLE 2 - BASIC SERVICES <br />2.1 PRELIMINARY STUDIES - The A/E utilizing existing aerial <br />photographs will prepare the following maps and/or studies for <br />preliminary meetings and "brainstorming" sessions: <br />2.1.1 Existing Facilities Map. <br />2.1.2 Existing Land Use Map.. <br />~• 2.1.3 Conceptual Future Land Use Map. <br />2.1.4 Access from existing roadways to the By-pass and Toll <br />Road. <br />2.2 MASTER PLAN - Following the preliminary meetings and utilizing <br />information from these meetings,. the A/E will complete the <br />following: <br />--2.2~I-- Base ~inap o~-the project-area. <br />ENGINEERS ARCHITECTS PLANNERS <br />219 236-4400 FAX: 219 236-4471 <br />
