CITY OF SOUTH BEND HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />The public was represented by: there was no one from the public to speak <br />After due consideration the following action was taken: <br />Upon a motion by Elizabeth Hertel, seconded by David Wyncott, and <br />UNANIMOUSLY carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission <br />APPROVES Certificate of Appropriateness Application #2022-1205 with final <br />product selection and detail design approval remanded to staff. <br />Vote: 6-0. Six in favor, none opposed. <br />COA#2022-1205 is APPROVED. <br />IV. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />V. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />i. November 21 ,2022 minutes (Audio Position: 28:43) <br />Upon a motion by Joan Downs Krostenko, seconded by Elizabeth Hertel, and <br />UNANIMOUSLY carried by vote, the minutes from the November 21, 2022 Historic <br />Preservation Commission are approved. <br />b. STAFF REPORTS <br />i. Administrative Approvals <br />After due consideration, no action was taken. <br />c. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />i. No committees met since the previous meeting. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. 2023 HPC Officer Elections — Slate of Officers (Audio Position: 29:31) <br />i. Officers Slate <br />Upon a motion by Elizabeth Hertel, seconded by David Wyncott, and <br />UNANIMOUSLY carried by vote, that the current slate of officers, with the <br />nomination of a Treasurer to be held in January of 2023, was approved. <br />ii. Replacement of a Commissioner <br />Upon a motion by Elizabeth Hertel, seconded by David Wyncott, and <br />UNANIMOUSLY carried by vote, that the Commission will approach City Council <br />and recognize that Commissioner Tiffany has been absent for five consecutive <br />meetings and request a replacement, was approved. <br />VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />a. 2023 Meeting Dates and Deadline Dates (Audio Position: 39:36) <br />b.
