The motion <br /> passed. Council Member Sniadecki then made a motion, seconded by Council Member <br /> Varner that Bill No. 73-99 as amended be recommended favorably to Council. The motion <br /> passed. <br /> Cathy Roemer than made a presentation on Bill NO. 74-99. She noted that it provides <br /> increases to non--bargaining employees of 3.5 % with limited exceptions and includes <br /> limited new positions detailed during the Committee budget reviews. It was also noted that <br /> in Community and Economic Development the new position would be filled during the 1st <br /> quarter. <br /> Council Member Kelly made a motion, seconded by Council Member Sniadecki that Bill <br /> No. 74-99 be recommended favorably to Council.
