CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />i. 2022-1117 937 Riverside Drive Riverside Drive LHD, Ordinance #7469-85 <br />(Audio Position: 00:37) <br />SARAH ANDREWS <br />PRESIDENT <br />The staff report was presented by: Adam Toering <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends dividing the project into three components' <br />COA 2022-1107-1 (Remove later replacement vinyl window in rear first floor room <br />(adjacent to garage door), side over opening) — Staff recommends approval. <br />The vinyl replacement window is not original to the structure. The proposed <br />replacement siding materials are appropriate for the structure. <br />COA 2022-1107-2 (Remove lower sash of large double hung window in rear first floor <br />room, creating a fixed `picture' window with upper multi -light sash, side over <br />opening, retaining/replicating existing trim and molding) — Staff recommends <br />approval. The resizing of the double -hung window will retain the existing upper <br />sash. The lower sash should be retained (or made available) for reuse on other <br />projects. <br />COA 2022-1107-3 (Remove western -most double hung sash on rear second story <br />fagade, side over opening, retaining/replicating existing trim and molding) — <br />Staff recommends approval. The double hung window will be replaced with <br />new siding and will replicate the existing trim/molding.
