<br />RESOLUTION NO. ~_ <br />• RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING <br />THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE <br />SOIITH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />TO ACT AS THE SECRETARY-TREASURER <br />DURING SUCH TIME SIICH POSITION <br />IS VACANT, AND RATIFYING ALL <br />PRIOR ACTIONS OF THL VICE PRESIDENT <br />ACTING AS SECRETARY-TREABURER <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the <br />"Authority") has been created pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14.5 as a <br />separate body, corporate and politic, and as an instrumentality of <br />the City of South Bend to finance local public improvements for <br />lease to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the <br />"Commission"); and <br />WHEREAS, George McCullough was formerly the Secretary- <br />• Treasurer of the Authority, but such position is now vacated; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to have the Vice President <br />of the Authority assume. all the duties and responsibilities <br />associated with the office of Secretary-Treasurer until such time <br />that the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "Mayor") <br />appoints another member to the Board of Directors of the Authority <br />(the "Board") and elections are held by the Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to ratify all prior <br />actions taken by the Vice President of the Authority during such <br />time as the Vice President acted in the capacity of Secretary- <br />Treasurer, including the execution of all documents and <br />Resolutions. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this South Bend <br /> Redevelopment Authority as follows: <br />
