<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />In review by the Division of Engineering, no calculation errors were found in the submitted bids. <br />All bidders provided the necessary forms and proposed subcontractor utilization that met the <br />M/WBE goals for each division. <br /> <br />The sum of low bids for all divisions exceeds the 2022 budget for Curb and Sidewalk. <br />Engineering recommends delaying the award of Division 3 into 2023. Engineering plans to <br />present this award recommendation separately to the Board of Public Works at a later time and <br />requests that no award or rejection action be taken on Division 3 at this meeting. <br /> <br />The Division of Engineering recommends award of only Divisions 1, 2, 4, and 5 to Premium <br />Concrete, in the total amount of $568,005.00. <br /> <br />Engineering furthermore recommends rejection of all other bids for Divisions 1, 2, 4, and 5 only. <br />As previously stated, no award or rejection action is recommended for Division 3 at this time. <br /> <br />The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds from Fund 202 Curb and <br />Sidewalk Division, and Fund 101 Other Contractual Services.
