• t <br /> • <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> April 28, 1997 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Mr.John Penney noted that there are a series of advertising materials utilizing Pathfinders <br /> which have come up with the theme "Everybody Plays". He noted that special emphasis <br /> will be on travel sections and newspapers, Chicago magazines, and National placements as <br /> well as scouting events. Special events and sports celebrity appearances are also being <br /> pursued. With regard to sales promotions announcements at the Chicago Cubs games are <br /> also being pursued as well as an upgrading of the website for the Football Hall of Fame. <br /> Marvell Mosley noted that an extra emphasis will also take place with the South Bend <br /> Community School Corporation with regard to field trips for interdisciplinary interaction. <br /> Council Member Pfeifer suggested scholarships and athletics with an emphasis on female <br /> athletes also being emphasized. <br /> Following further discussion,the meeting was adjourned at 4:27 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Sean Coleman, Chairperson <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> Attachments <br />
