North orientation arrow. <br />3. Names of water bodies – lakes, rivers, streams, etc. <br />4. Acreage and boundary of any water impoundments or wetlands. <br />5. If applicable, show corporation limits. <br />6. Identify all roads and highways including any rights-of-way on park property. Give proper <br />name and road number. <br />7. Show total boundary of existing park and include the acreage. The project area should be <br />shown in sufficient detail to be legally identifiable. Acceptable methods of identification <br />include: <br />a. Deed references. <br />b. Adjoining owners, easements, water bodies, or other natural landmarks. <br />c. Metes and bounds, or Government surveys. Note: if the project includes only one <br />segment of the park, include a general map that shows the total park and location of the <br />project site. The base map can be an enlargement of the project site and its immediate <br />surroundings. <br />8. Identify any unique or significant natural features on the site. <br />9. Locate existing improvements including: <br />a. Structures <br />b. Park roads <br />c. Parking lots <br />d. Recreation activity areas (ball fields, picnic areas) <br />10. Locate known subsurface utility lines based on the field survey of surface markings <br />provided by Indiana Underground Plant Protection Service. <br />a. Specify whether they are overhead or buried.
