Mr. Thorsberg noted that <br /> 15 town houses would be constructed and showed an earnest rendering of the proposed <br /> project. He noted that a consultant is involved with regard to the marketing of the town <br /> homes. Ann Kolata spoke in favor of the proposed abatement. Mr. Thorsberg noted that <br /> the market is aimed at the"empty nesters"with each unit being sold between $175,000 to <br /> $179,000. <br /> Council Member Broden noted that neighborhood services would be contributing an <br /> additional $53,000 for the project and that the northeast neighborhood endorses the <br /> project. <br /> Dea Andrews spoke in favor of the proposed abatement. Council Member Broden spoke in <br /> favor of the abatement noting that this would be quality "B" zoning which would add <br /> approximately a two million dollar investment to the neighborhood. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Pfeifer made a motion seconded by Council <br /> Member Sniadecki that Resolution No. 97-30 be recommended favorably to Council.
