Klosinski, P.E. Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Contract Award – Trucks R Us (V-00001707) <br />Project No. 122-031 2022 Biosolids Trucking for Land Application Annual <br />Contract – Additional Services (PR-00015085) <br />DATE: November 10, 2022 <br /> On March 22, 2022 the Department of Public Works awarded an Open Market Quote to <br />Trucks R Us for the 2022 Biosolids Trucking for Land Application Annual Contract. <br /> The subject memorandum is provided to notify the Board of Public Works about an increase <br />in the amount of trucking hours required for land application. <br />Original Contract Amount (Initial): $105,000.00 <br />Additional Trucking (Increase): $ 29,700.00 <br />New Contract Amount: $134,700.00 <br /> The Division of Utilities kindly requests that the Board of Public Works approve the subject <br />change order and ratify the additional services in concert with the City’s efforts for land <br />application. This work was performed under the current Open Market Contract which is an “on <br />call” services at rate of $145.00 “per truck, per hour”. <br /> The Public Works and the Division of Utilities are working to have funds appropriated to the <br />Organic Resources, Contractual Services Other Account (641-06-605-515-439001). For <br />questions regarding the above recommendation or the subject project, contact Kim Thompson <br />at the Division of Utilities (Ext. 5969) or Jacob M.
