All rights reserved. <br />d.Roadway Design <br />1)The CONSULTANT shall perform all phases of the work described in this <br />Agreement necessary to accomplish the complete design of the project. The <br />PROJECT roadway design elements shall be in accordance with reference <br />documents in effect at the time the roadway plans are submitted. <br />2)The CONSULTANT shall prepare all applicable design computations necessary to <br />demonstrate that applicable design criteria have been satisfied. <br />3)The CONSULTANT shall complete necessary drainage design as necessary for <br />relocation of storm inlets and structures for advancement of ADA compliant <br />crosswalks at intersections. Design of stormwater retention and detention systems <br />are not included in this Agreement. Analyses of drainage systems downstream of <br />the PROJECT are not included in this Agreement <br />4)The CONSULTANT shall prepare a cost estimate and unit prices for construction <br />in accordance with current practices and shall include all items of work required for <br />the complete construction of the work, including temporary work. <br />5)The CONSULTANT shall prepare the construction plans and typical sections so <br />that the plans are in compliance with all required permits. The CONSULTANT <br />shall track the status of permits and permit expiration dates to assure that valid <br />permits will be available for the current project construction schedule. <br />6)The typical section at this time will be 66’ in total at this time. It will include a 6’ <br />side walk on the north side, a 5’ green planting strip, 8’ parking lane (includes 2’ <br />curb and gutter section), two 10’ drive lanes, 8’ parking lane (includes 2’ curb and <br />gutter), 7’ panting strip, and a 12’ trail on the south side. <br />7)The CONSULTANT shall develop erosion control plans and specifications in <br />accordance with regulatory agencies. Erosion control plans shall include existing <br />conditions plans, proposed erosion control plans, and proposed quantities. <br />e.The CONSULTANT shall prepare a Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSGP) <br />with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). The <br />CONSULTANT shall plan, coordinate, monitor and document the CSGP permit related <br />activities. Application forms and all supporting documentation shall be collected, <br />completed and compiled into a Construction/Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan <br />(SWP3). The SWP3 shall be submitted to the St. Joseph County Soil & Water <br />Conservation District. Upon approval of the SWP3, the CONSULTANT shall notify <br />the IDEM of the Notice of Intent of the project. <br />f.The CONSULTANT shall develop maintenance of traffic plans based on the following <br />requirements: <br />g.Lindell Avenue will remained open to thru traffic such that phased construction is <br />required. <br />h.Local access to properties will be maintained throughout construction. <br />6.Landscape Architecture
