3) Rebuilding the floor of the Front Porch. <br />The left front footing of the porch has failed and is pulling away from the house. This is <br />resulting in and increasingly sloped porch floor as well as railing pulling away from the shifting <br />support beams. Additionally, the porch floor is soft/spongy and appears that a second layer of <br />flooring has been put over the original floor. We believe that the porch floor joists have lost <br />their integrity. We are proposing that we jack the roof up and support the structure while the <br />footing and porch floor is either reinforced or replaced. The footing would be rebuilt to support <br />all repairs to the porch floor. Floor decking would most likely be pressure treated wood. We <br />would like the option to consider composite decking if possible. <br />
