] i. <br /> li Community and Economic development <br /> Committee Report <br /> September 26, 1994 <br /> 1 j Page 2 <br /> II` <br /> Council Member Slavinskas stated that he believes that the hydraulic units should <br /> be quieter than those of diesel units based on his work experience. <br /> ii <br /> { <br /> Council Member Luecke asked whether the petitioner would be agreeable to comply <br /> 1 1 with the City Noise Ordinance and the petitioner stated that they would not agree to the <br /> I. residential levels. <br /> Council Member Colemen stated that as part of the Tax Abatement process that <br /> petitioners can be held to higher standards such as enhanced screening. He stated that the <br /> problem becomes a higher standard verses more difficulty to operate within the City. <br /> Council Member Duda stated that the continuous running and noise has been <br /> ac <br /> reported to her and that she has had first hand knowledge of sleep being disrupted around <br />�' the hours of 2:30 in the morning. <br /> i'! <br /> j'A Following further discussion Council Member Slavinskas, made a motion, <br /> seconded by Council Member Luecke, that Resolution No. 94-88 be recommended <br /> favorable to Council as presented without amendment.
