6. Calculation of Limits <br />Wastewater discharged at SS 026 is subject to the Iron and Steel Categorical Standards at 40 CFR <br />420.95 {PSES} (I)(b)(2) and (I)(b)(4) {hydrochloric acid pickling (spent acid solutions and rinse <br />waters) strip, sheet, and plate and fume scrubber}. The more stringent of the limits provided in 40 <br />CFR 420.95 or Chapter 17 of the City of South Bend Municipal Code have been applied without <br />modification. <br /> <br />7. Monitoring Frequency <br />Monitoring frequencies are based South Bend’s US EPA approved Industrial Pretreatment Program <br />Monitoring Plan. <br />8.
