CITY OF SOUTH BEND: COAL LINE TRAIL (PHASE IIB) 1 To the Members of the Selectfon Committee, Lochmueller Group (Lochmueller) is excited for the opportunity to assist the City of South Bend in the accomplishment of the latest phase of the Coal Line Trail unitfng the Near Northwest and Northshore Triangle Neighborhoods along the old Notre Dame & Western Coal Line route. The rehabilitatfon of the abandoned rail structure for use as a pedestrian bridge and a gathering place with landscaped overlooks will fulfill a community vision which began before 2016. We are ready and capable of providing the inspection services necessary to finish this link.
