LFA's recent experience on Phase I of the project provided
us valuable insights we will apply to subsequent phases of this project to exceed the City of South Bend expectations. Further, the LFA Team's specific project experience on
multi-use paths, ADA requirements and bridge reconstruction projects will be critical to this project’s success. Recent specific examples of LFA’s experience with the City of South
Bend and multi-use path projects include the on-going Coal Line Trail — (Phase 1) Project, Olive & Sample Reconstruction Project, the Bendix Drive Road Reconstruction, and
LaSalle Trail. Having the Team Capacity, Work Type Experience and Team Availability makes the LFA Team the right choice for this project.
LFA Staff Yrs. This
experience will ultimately provide required insight
to supervise and inspect each major element while
identifying potential time and cost saving measures
as the project progresses. Specific experience
in bridge reconstruction, waterway permitting,
utility relocation, drainage, ADA requirements and
architectural features will be critical.
Team Availability
The LFA Team is already prepared to be on-site for
Phase IIA of the project. We will ensure that the LFA
Team will be dedicated to the project upon selection.
Ensuring Ric's availability also provides consistency
of staff involved for project continuity across Phases
I, IIA and IIB.
This consistency will be critical to maintaining the
project schedule, managing two contractors in close
proximity and working to ensure opening prior to
Notre Dame Football season.
Paul and Ric’s Involvement:
Resolution Assistance
As Needed Progress Meeting Attendance
Schedule Oversight
