TEAM PROJECT APPROACH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 12FIRM OVERVIEWCITY OF SOUTH BEND | CE Services for Coal Line Trail Phase IIB (Des # 2200199) <br />HWC provided design and construction inspection services for this project. The <br />Muscatatuck Trail project connects the Muscatatuck County Park to downtown <br />North Vernon, Indiana. <br />This project was one component of the City’s $15.0 million Stellar Communities <br />Pilot Program effort to revitalize downtown North Vernon. INDOT federal aid <br />funds were utilized. <br />The trail begins in downtown North Vernon and extends south through several <br />neighborhoods along a former railroad right-of-way before ultimately connecting <br />to the Muscatatuck County Park. The park has existing mountain biking and <br />hiking trails, which serve as a natural connection to this multi-use trail. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: HWC <br />NORTH VERNON, IN <br />Muscatatuck Trail <br />HWC provided full-time inspection services for the Sugar Creek Trail project <br />in Crawfordsville, Indiana. <br />Project additions included an MSE wall structure spanning 223’ over an <br />unnamed tributary that outlets into Sugar Creek and an 8’ wide HMA bike <br />trail approximately 1,878’ in length from Schenck Road to the existing <br />trailhead by the Animal Welfare League. <br />The project also included installing 48” RCP in the MSE wall to divert the <br />water for the unnamed tributary to Little Honey Creek. MSE wall envelope <br />was backfilled entirely with #8 stone to ensure the MSE wall joints did not <br />leak from typical structure backfill material. <br />The $670,000 project was funded by INDOT and the City of Crawfordsville. <br />Sugar Creek Trail <br />CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN
