CITY OF SOUTH BEND HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />an attorney to advise us in that discussion and then we need city employee time to go down <br />state to talk to Landmarks and to talk to other people in the state preservation community. <br />So, um I am just going to say no because I want to start a fire as a war so we can really get <br />something done here. <br />Commissioner Tiffany (NAY): We haven't seen inside yet. I know there's been a lot of <br />people doing a lot of work, but I would like to see inside. I agree I don't like seeing buildings <br />get knocked down especially historic. <br />Commissioner Wyncott (AYE): <br />Commissioner Gelfman (AYE): <br />Certificate of Appropriateness #2022-0404 is denied. <br />IV. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />V. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />i. March 21, 2022 <br />(Audio Position: 1:23:00) <br />Upon a motion by Sarah Andrews, being seconded by Eric Stalheim and unanimously <br />carried by vote, the minutes from the March 21, 2022, Historic Preservation Commission <br />are approved. <br />April 11, 2022 (Special Meeting) <br />Upon a motion by Sarah Andrews, being seconded by Mary Brazinsky and unanimously <br />carried by vote, the minutes from the April 11, 2022, Historic Preservation Commission are <br />approved. <br />b. STAFF REPORTS <br />i. Administrative Approvals <br />After due consideration, no action was taken. <br />c. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />i. Standards and Guidelines <br />After due consideration, no action was taken. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />Commissioner Gelfman requested a special meeting of the Landmarks and Historic Districts <br />committee to create a list of at -risk properties. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br />Upon a motion by David Wyncott, seconded by Eric Stalheim and unanimously carried, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 8:01 p.m. <br />Page 13 <br />
