Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space <br />provided. <br /> <br />Item #1: Information – Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />A copy of the minutes from the May 10, 2022 Pre-Bid Meeting is attached herein. <br />These minutes are for informational purposes only and do not alter the Bidding <br />Documents. <br /> <br />Item #2: General Clarifications – Question and Answer <br /> <br />Question: Do the existing interior and/or exterior coatings contain lead and if so, <br />how much? <br />Answer: Neither the existing interior nor existing exterior coatings contain lead. The <br />elevated storage tank was constructed in 2002 and coatings consisted of Sherwin- <br />Williams products including: Macropoxy 646, Corothane, and Hi-Solids Catalyzed <br />Epoxy coatings according to the project specifications. <br /> <br />Question: When is the desired mobilization date? <br />Answer: Contract time will start no later than September 15, 2022, as stated in Special <br />Provision XIII B.1 of the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />Question: What is the estimated bid price? <br />Answer: The City of South Bend does not provide estimates during the public <br />solicitation process, an engineer’s estimate will be included with the bid tab and all other <br />public documentation published at the award of the contract. <br /> <br />Question: Can we get a list of the plan holders? <br />Answer: The City of South Bend publishes on ARC PlanRoom at www.e- <br />arc.com/location/south.bend/. When the project is selected, there is an option in the top right <br />corner of the website labeled, “Planholders List.” Lastly, click on “View Report” to see the <br />plan holders. <br />
