26 <br />APPENDIX "D" <br />A.Amount of Payment <br />1.The CONSULTANT shall receive as payment for the work performed under this <br />agreement the total fee not to exceed $188,500.00, unless a modification of this <br />agreement is approved in writing by the Owner. <br />2.The CONSULTANT will be paid for the work performed under Appendix “A” of this <br />Agreement on a Lump Sum basis in accordance with the following schedule, except as <br />noted in the items below <br />Tasks - Lump Sum Amount <br />Design and Plan Development $117,900 <br />NEPA Document Preparation $11,200 <br />Topographic Survey* $39,700 <br />Cultural Resource Investigation* $5,500 <br />Utility Coordination $13,200 <br />Sub-Total $187,500 <br />Tasks - Hourly Plus <br />Expenses Amount <br />Office Construction Administration $1,000 <br />Total $188,500 <br />3.Items marked with an asterisk (*) are items that will be performed by a Subconsultant. <br />4.Standard Hourly Rates are set forth in Exhibit “D1” and include salaries and wages paid <br />to personnel in each billing class plus the cost of customary and statutory benefits, <br />general and administrative overhead, non-project operating costs, and operating margin <br />or profit. The Standard Hourly Rates will be adjusted annually to reflect equitable <br />changes in the compensation payable to the CONSULTANT. <br />5.Construction Inspection work shall be covered under a separate contract. <br />6.The anticipated letting date for this project is defined in Appendix C. If the anticipat ed <br />design completion date is not met, at no fault of the CONSULTANT; the <br />CONSULTANT maybe due an increase in fee due to inflationary costs for any unfinished <br />work. Any fee increase shall be negotiated between the OWNER and the <br />CONSULTANT. <br />7.The CONSULTANT shall not be paid for any service performed by the Owner or not <br />required to develop this project. <br />B.Method of Payment
