CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />i. 2022-0103 1316 East Wayne Street S East Wayne Street LHD, Ordinance #7796-87 <br />(Audio Position: 01:03) <br />The staff report was presented by Adam Toering. <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends approval; staff asks that the Commission <br />remand further modifications of the overall plan to staff for review. <br />The applicant was represented by: <br />David and Rachel Hochstetler, 1316 E Wayne St. S South Bend, IN 46615 <br />Eric Stalheim, 902 E Washington St. South Bend, IN 46617. <br />The public was represented by: <br />N/A <br />Eric Stalheim recused themselves for the petition due to conflict of interest. <br />After due consideration, the following action was taken: <br />Upon a motion by David Wyncott, seconded by Sarah Andrews, and unanimously <br />carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Certificate of <br />Appropriateness Application #2022-0103 and remands further modifications of the <br />overall plan to staff for review. <br />Vote: 5-0-1. Five in Favor, none opposed, one recused. <br />COA#2022-0103 is approved. <br />IV.
