Zoning and Vacation Committee <br /> January 22, 1990 <br /> Page 3 <br /> operation which he believes would be a compliment to this <br /> part of the City. He stated that there is more than ample <br /> parking for this project and other possible projects in the <br /> future. Council Member Niezgodski stated that the current <br /> owners Mr. & Mrs. Medich plan to move their location into <br /> the Studebaker Corridor. <br /> Upon further discussion Council Member Niezgodski made a <br /> motion seconded by Council Member Luecke that Substitite <br /> Bill No. 97-89 be recommended favorably to Council. The <br /> motion passed. <br /> The next item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 116-89 <br /> which would vacate a portion of West Wayne right-of-way from <br /> Lot No. 288. Mr. Don Ross of Cressy & Everett spoke on <br /> behalf of the petitioner. <br /> He noted that the vacation was necessary in order for <br /> Ehninger Florist Shop located at 111 West Wayne to construct <br /> a greenhouse. He noted that the design review committee and <br /> the BZA both gave favorable recommendations to this <br /> development. <br /> Upon further discussion Council Member Coleman made a motion <br /> seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski that Bill No. 116-89 <br /> be recommended favorable to Council.
