Public Works - April 10, 1989 - Page 2 <br /> Following further discussion Council Member Slavinskas made a motion <br /> seconded by Council Member Puzzello that Bill No. 24-89 be recommended <br /> favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br /> Council Member Slavinskas questioned the intersection of Miami and <br /> Ewing and was advised by Mr. Leszczynski that a study had been <br /> completed several years ago, however, because the merchants would <br /> lose parking that it was not proceeded upon at that time. <br /> Council Member Coleman questioned Miami and Jackson and was advised <br /> that it would be started upon the completion of the Ewing and Ironwood <br /> intersection. Council Member Slavinskas questioned improving <br /> Ironwood between Ireland and Ewing. Mr. Leszczynski stated that the <br /> City would like to move ahead on this project and advised the Council <br /> that sewers and retension basins would be necessary. <br /> Council Member Puzzello questioned the use of the proposed Frederickson <br /> Park area for dumping. She was advised by Mr... Leszczynski that this <br /> is on a temporary basis which would be discontinued in the very <br /> near future. Mr. Leszczynski also noted that the Corby and Hickory <br /> intersection does meet the warrant requirements.
