It is located next to the Sears <br /> store and would have substantial screening. <br /> Councilman Zakrzewski questioned how large the facility <br /> would be and was informed that the tables would be increased <br /> from thirteen to twenty thus allowing approximately 80 <br /> patrons. <br /> Councilwoman Puzzello stated that she cannot recall where <br /> the City Council would approve a C commercial zoning next to <br /> A residential on both sides. She also voiced concern with <br /> regard to traffic problems. She stated that there was <br /> considerable back up on State Road 23. She indicated that <br /> the families living on both sides have voiced opposition to <br /> the proposed rezoning. She also noted concern with regard <br /> to the fact that there would be no site plan since the bill <br /> was sponsored by Councilman Barcome. She questioned whether <br /> the rezoning could apply only to Mr. Parisi. <br /> Mr. Doug Carpenter questioned the type of fencing that would <br /> be used and was informed that it would be wood. He also <br /> thought that a passing blister would help the traffic <br /> concerns. <br /> Councilman Barcome stated that the traffic all along 23 is a <br /> problem. The operational hours would be from 4pm to 9pm <br /> with the peak hours between 7pm and 9pm. <br /> Councilman Serge noted that the condition of the two homes <br /> which would be torn down for the proposed restaurant are in <br /> terrible condition. Councilwoman Beck noted that she had <br /> not received any calls against the proposed rezoning. <br /> Following further discussion, Councilman Serge made a motion <br /> seconded by Councilwoman Beck that bill no. 126-87 be <br /> recommended favorably to the Council. The motion passed by <br /> a 3-1 vote with Councilwoman Puzzello in the minority. <br /> The Committee then reviewed bill no. 115-87 which would <br /> vacate certain property located near Dinan Court. Mr. Dave <br /> Behr of the Holladay Corporation spoke on behalf of the <br /> petitioners. He noted that two alleys were involved and <br /> that this was a joint project between the Holladay <br /> Corporation and Memorial Health Properties. <br /> Following discussion, Councilman Serge made a motion <br /> seconded by Councilwoman Puzzello that bill no. 115-87 be <br /> recommended favorably to the Council. The motion passed. <br /> No further business came before the Committee. The meeting <br /> was adjourned at 4:20pm. <br />
