Zoning and Vacation Committee <br /> Minutes/April 13 , 1987 <br /> Page 2 <br /> The Committee then reviewed Bill No . 12-87 which was a <br /> zoning ordinance to rezone the property located at 1244 LWE. <br /> Mr . Carl Brunson , local realtor and petitioner , explained his <br /> reasons for seeking the rezoning . He noted that the property <br /> would house his real estate office as well as a potpourri gift <br /> shop . He also noted that the Area Plan Commission gave a <br /> favorable recommendation at its meeting of March 17 , 1987 . He <br /> plans to restore the building to its original condition because <br /> of the historic district designation. He passed out numerous <br /> pictures of the original site for the Council ' s review. <br /> Following discussion by the Committee, Councilman Serge made <br /> a motion, seconded by Councilman Beck, that Substitute Bill No . <br /> 12-87 go to Council favorably .
