He has designed <br />numerous complex roadways, small structures, drainage <br />systems, multi-use paths, sanitary and storm sewers, <br />complex signing, lighting and signal, complex MOT, and <br />engineering assessment projects. is role as Project <br />Manager includes all phases of each project to include <br />project coordination and management, plan development, <br />hydrologic & hydraulics design, utility coordination and <br />geotechnical procedures, quantity calculations, cost <br />estimates, special provisions, bundling projects, and <br />bid package preparation. He also has experience in <br />preparation of MOT schemes, complex regulatory permits, <br />and mitigation measures for complex projects. Shailesh <br />has completed multiple value engineering and practical <br />design options that helped clients to save on construction <br />cost as well as reduce the right-of-way and environmental <br />impact. <br />ALAN BALL <br />ENVIRONMENTAL <br />22 Years of Experience <br />Alan is a NEPA practitioner and <br />wetland scientist who manages the VS <br />Engineering environmental team. His <br />responsibilities include preparing all elements of CE and <br />EA-level NEPA documentation, GIS data analysis and <br />mapping, and wetland delineations. He also prepares <br />USACE 404 and IDEM 401 wetland and stream permits. <br />Alan has demonstrated success in all elements of wetland <br />and stream mitigation from site selection to design and <br />construction. Alan’s broad range of project experience <br />and thorough understanding of NEPA allows him to <br />establish and manage project budgets and timelines <br />tailored to the challenges of each unique project. He is <br />excellent at balancing the needs of the client with the <br />competing interests of resource agencies. Through <br />Alan’s leadership, VS Engineering has secured over <br />70 NEPA document approvals in the past four years. <br />LANDON GEIGER, EI <br />ROADWAY <br />9 Years of Experience <br />Landon is a Project Engineer with <br />experience in the support of transportation <br />projects. His duties include development <br />of preliminary design plans, preparation of quantities and <br />estimates and providing general engineering support to <br />senior staff members. <br />In addition to providing engineering support in the office, <br />Landon also has field survey and construction inspection <br />experience in many storm and sanitary sewer projects. <br />Landon has broad experience in transportation-related <br />projects, including surveying, design, cost estimating and <br />construction. Landon has a complete understanding of <br />Fort Wayne’s design and drafting standards. Added to his <br />transportation and roadway experience, he is a qualified <br />engineer for utilities projects including preliminary design <br />and cost estimating. <br />MATT HEALY, PS, EI <br />SURVEY & RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />15 Years of Experience <br />Matt has experience in all aspects of <br />survey projects including numerous <br />construction surveys on route, <br />topography, boundary and recorded easement surveys <br />for the public and private sectors. He is versed in <br />deed research, field work adjustments, preparation of <br />engineering drawings for route surveys, and construction <br />staking. Matt manages field survey crews and in-house <br />survey technicians. <br />Matt is experienced in R/W engineering and performing <br />R/W stakings for appraisals and deed plotting (AutoCad). <br />He has prepared ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, survey <br />recording plats, assisted with FEMA flood elevation <br />certificates as well as surveyors location reports, <br />construction surveying calculations, and numerous <br />topographic surveys. Matt is well versed in use of the RIEGL <br />VZ-400 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner and accompanying <br />acquisition and processing software packages. He is <br />directly responsible for all of the firm’s laser scanning and <br />mobile LiDAR projects from planning to final deliverables.
