<br />Stephan and Jonathon have worked closely through
<br />the management and development of many projects.
<br />They form a dynamic, responsive team whose goal is
<br />to make our partner’s lives easier.
<br />Together, Stephan and Jonathon will determine the
<br />best team to fit the needs of this sidewalk project. They
<br />will draw upon their extensive experience managing
<br />local contracts to aid South Bend in maximizing the
<br />value of this project. They are adept in assessing
<br />sidewalk and streetscape related issues that arise by
<br />defining the impacts to safety, long term maintenance,
<br />budget, and schedule of possible solutions; ensuring
<br />that the correct design is incorporated in the plan set.

<br />Stephan and Jonathon are fully committed to this
<br />project and will participate in 100% of the key
<br />decisions, ensuring that the City of South Bend has the
<br />tools they need to most effectively serve its citizens.

<br />Maximizing Value
<br />Stephan’s primary focus will be to serve as Project
<br />Manager and Design Lead: ensuring that the team delivers
<br />a high quality project, on time and on budget. He will
<br />work diligently to provide timely, cost effective, and value-
<br />added solutions to any challenges that arise.
<br />Practical Design
<br />He will utilize his technical expertise and understanding
<br />of design procedures, acute attention to detail, and
<br />communication skills to make this project a success.
<br />Demonstrated Qualifications and Commitment
<br />Stephan joined Troyer Group as a Program Manager
<br />specializing in the management of the firm’s contracts.
<br />Previously, Stephan worked at the INDOT LaPorte District
<br />office for three years as one of its main project managers
<br />(250+ projects). He is fluent in INDOT’s process in regards
<br />to project milestones, utility & railroad coordination,
<br />environmental and R/W processes, and ATR/WIM sites
<br />coordination. Stephan’s leadership ensures that projects
<br />are completed on time, on budget, and to INDOT’s
<br />expectations.

<br />Stephan Summers Jonathon Geels, PLA, FASLA
<br />As a landscape architect, Jonathon works on public
<br />sites with a focus on pedestrian experiences and
<br />community engagement. He is passionate about urban
<br />sociology applications in landscape design, seeing
<br />it as integral to environmental and infrastructure
<br />management as well as economic development. He
<br />has been very involved with the Safe Routes to School
<br />program, advocating for more complete transportation
<br />infrastructure funding, specifically through his efforts
<br />with the American Society of Landscape Architects.
<br />Jonathon has won several community and national
<br />awards, being recognized for his outstanding service
<br />and leadership. His oversight and experience in
<br />multimodal transportation planning ensures that all
<br />aspects of this project are considered.
