PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />SHANNON SHEETS <br />LEAD DESIGNER & ADA EXPERT <br />Shannon has 22 years of experience in the engineering field. She has designed transportation <br />projects of varying size and complexity, including roadway widening and reconstruction, roadways <br />on new alignment, new and modified interchange design, resurfacing, small structures and bridge <br />modifications, multi-use trails, signalized intersection design, signage, markings, and over 23 <br />roundabout intersection designs. She has experience working for state DOT and local agencies <br />using federal funding as well as locally funded projects. <br />ANGELA DEWEES, P.E. <br />QA/QC <br />Angela has 25 years of experience in the design of roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation projects, <br />bike trail projects, and modern roundabouts. She has designed and developed both locally-and federally- <br />funded transportation projects. Serving as a Project Manager on urban and rural roadway and intersection <br />improvement projects, Angela’s responsibilities include overall project management, design, plan and <br />specification preparation, quantity and cost estimate preparation, and other duties as required to ensure the <br />timely and efficient completion of transportation projects. She also serves as a pavement design engineer for <br />HMA and PCCP pavement design analysis using AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design Software. <br />ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />• ADA Curb Ramp Project in City of Vincennes – INDOT Vincennes District <br />• ADA Curb Ramp Projects in Towns of Ferdinand & Birdseye – INDOT Vincennes District <br />• Pedestrian Crash Focus Area 14B – Indianapolis Department of Public Works <br />Pedestrian Crossing Improvements Near Schools <br />Town of Brownsburg – Brownsburg, IN <br />Project Manager responsible for the design and delivery of this HSIP-funded project to improve <br />pedestrian crossings and facilities at eleven intersections near school zones. The improvements included <br />upgrading school speed zone signage from static signs to solar powered flashing beacons, installing high <br />visibility crosswalk pavement markings, rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB), and additional street <br />lighting, as well as the construction of ADA compliant curb ramps. Angela also performed right of way <br />management services for acquisition services involving six property owners. <br />S.R. 38 Small Town Reconstruction <br />Indiana Department of Transportation – Dayton, IN <br />Project manager for this project which involves the reconstruction of S.R. 38 within the east side <br />of the Town of Dayton, Indiana. The purpose of the project is to replace failing pavement to restore <br />the structural capacity and serviceability of the roadway, improve pedestrian facilities in accordance <br />with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility standards, and provide proper <br />stormwater drainage for the roadway.
