Page 4. <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> August 8, 1986 <br /> Councilman Barcome echoed the recommendations of Councilmen Voorde, <br /> Paszek and Zakrzewski and requested the City Controller that if Revenue <br /> Sharing is made available for next year that the $66,000 to fund Project <br /> Future as the City' s commitment be paid from Revenue Sharing rather than <br /> from the Civil City Budget. Mr. Vance stated that he would bring this <br /> request to Mayor Parent' s attention. <br /> Councilman Serge then made a motion seconded by Councilman Beck <br /> that the Controller' s budget as amended be recommended favorably,to <br /> Council. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> BARR:ETT LAW, page 11, $25-,616 <br /> Discussion was then had regarding the part-time clerk. It was <br /> noted that contact had been made between Councilman Barcome and Mr. Doran' s <br /> office with regard to how payment would be made. Council President Beck <br /> said she would make a contact to Mr. Doran' s office and contact Mr. Vance <br /> thereafter. <br /> Following discussion Councilman Serge made a motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Braboy that the Barrett Law budget as proposed go to Council <br /> favorably.. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> 'SELF-INSURANCE,: page 70, '$1,207,160 <br /> Mr. Vance noted that this is the liability and property insurance. <br /> Following discussion, Councilman Serge made a motion seconded by Councilman <br /> Braboy that the Self-Insurance Budget be recommended favorably to Council. <br /> The motion passed unanimously. <br /> ' YOUTH :SERVICE BUREAU, page 34, '$68,000 <br /> It was noted that the Youth Service Bureau is becoming a not-for- <br /> profit agency. This year the budgeted amount from the City would be cut <br /> by $25,000. This is part of a agreement with the agency. <br /> Following discussion, Councilman Serge made a motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Paszek to recommend the Youth Service Bureau Budget favorably <br /> to Council. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> ART ASSOCIATION, page 36, $36,000 <br /> Mr. Vance explained this account. Following discussion Councilman <br /> Serge made a motion seconded by Councilman Braboy to recommend this <br /> account favorably to the full Council. The motion passed unanimously. <br />
