It <br /> was noted that 28 employees would be within the Bureau. <br /> Following discussion, Councilman Braboy made a motion seconded <br /> by Councilman Serge that the Communication Center Budget be recommended <br /> favorably to Council. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> POLICE PENSION, page 68, $2,028, 280 <br /> It was recommended following discussion that Line Item 150. 2 <br /> entitled "Pensions - Personnel Current" be cut by $25,000 which would <br /> reduce the proposed requested amount of $274,133 to $249,133. A motion <br /> reflecting that cut was made by Councilman Serge and seconded by <br /> Councilman Braboy and was passed unanimously. <br /> Councilman Serge then made a motion seconded by Councilman Braboy <br /> that the Police Pension Budget as amended be recommended favorably to <br /> Council. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY, page 13, $10,200 <br /> The Committee then reviewed the proposed budget for the Board of <br /> Public Safety which is identical to the current budget. The Other <br /> Contractuals amount reflects the salaries paid to the three-member Board <br /> of Public Safety. <br /> Councilman Braboy made a motion seconded by Councilman Serge that <br /> the Board of Public Safety Budget be recommended favorably to Council. <br /> The motion passed unanimously. <br /> HUMAN RIGHTS, page 32, $60, 849 <br /> Debbie Khrol then presented the Human Rights Budget for 1987. <br /> It was noted that a housing specialist needs to be added to the budget <br /> in the amount of $9, 700. Councilman Braboy made a motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Serge to make that addition to the budget. The motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Following discussion, Councilman Serge made a motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Braboy that the amended version of the Human Rights Budget for <br /> 1987 go to Council favorably. The motion passed unanimously. <br />
