Services crossing pavement: <br /> <br />(i) Service leads, when crossing undisturbed pavement, shall be installed by boring, molding <br />or other acceptable methods, which does not disturb the pavement or its support. <br /> <br />h. Marking service connection locations <br /> <br />(i) Each service connection location shall be marked at the right-of-way line by a 2” by 2” blue <br />painted treated wood stake 24” long driven exactly above the terminal end of the <br />connection. The service shall also be permanently marked in the top of the concrete curb <br />along the street exactly above the service line with the letter “W” imprinted thereon. <br /> <br />10. Measurement and Payment <br /> <br />a. The Contractor shall submit dimensioned scalable shop drawings for all manhole and inlet <br />structures which clearly indicate the base elevation of the structure, inverts of all incoming and <br />outgoing pipes, top of slab, and casting elevations. <br /> <br />4. No brick or block shall be used in the construction of a new manhole or when adjusting the elevation <br />of the frame and cover. <br /> <br />5. All pipe connections shall be made with integral resilient fittings complying with ASTM C -923 (30” <br />or less). <br /> <br />6. Where one solid riser or barrel section cannot be used, the final adjustments in elevation of the <br />frame and cover shall only be accomplished by the use of precast concrete adjusting rings of a
