Rage 2 . <br /> Human Resources and Economic Development Committee <br /> Councilman Taylor then made the following motion which was seconded <br /> by Council...P.resident Beck: <br /> That EL CAMPPITO, INC. is considered by the Human ' <br /> Resources and .Economic Development Committee as <br /> one of the highest .priorities for CD Funding, and <br /> that the staff of the Community Development Division <br /> prepare a written progress report on their continuing <br /> assistance to EL CAMPITO 'and file the report with the <br /> Committee during the month of July, 1985 . <br /> Following discussion, the motion passed unanimously. <br /> Ann Kolota noted that the $80, 000 in ULO is in effect an escrow <br /> account since funds can not be used unless a. proper ordinance comes before <br /> the Common Council. She recommended that funds from this account would <br /> not be used until the EL CAMPITO matter would be resolved. <br /> Councilman Braboy suggested that the EL CAMPITO matter- be resolved <br /> with all deliberate speed and with as much technical assistance from <br /> CD as is necessary. Councilman Puzzello echoed this recommendation. <br /> Following further discussion Councilman Taylor made a motion seconded <br /> by Council President Beck that Bill No. 62-85 go .to Council favorably. <br /> The motion passed'. unanimously. <br /> • <br /> The Committee the reviewed Resolution 9-A which is a confirming <br /> resolution for S=TANTZ.CHEESE for real property tax abatement at 1840 North <br /> Commerce Drive,.
