Page 32 of 54 General Roof Scope Clarifications: •Issues with existing roof deck and associated structural are excluded from the Scope of Services. If identified during the project – this will be brought to the attention of Customer. •Tuck pointing is excluded from roofing scope. •Unless noted otherwise, the Scope of Services was developed in a manner that existing equipment / rails / etc. do not need to be raised. If during installation, issues are noted – this will be brought to the attention of Customer. •ACM and hazardous materials abatement is excluded from the work scope. •Replacement of existing water damaged interior ceiling tiles is not included. •Replacement of existing water damaged insulation is excluded in the Scope of Services. General Plumbing Scope Clarifications •Plumbing materials, mounting hardware, and piping material are included. •Any repairs to previous floor, tile or wall damage is excluded. Repairs (painting, patching, etc.) to damage caused by Ameresco during installation is included. •Caulking of new fixtures is included. •Where ADA water closets exist that are scheduled for replacement as part of the Scope of Services, Ameresco will replace with ADA water closets. •Labor to replace shut off valves or repair main water valves that do not close completely or that will not fully re-open is excluded. Ameresco will require the assistance of maintenance staff, at no additional cost to Ameresco, to shut off zone valves or operating water mains when bathroom fixture shutoff does not function correctly. •Labor to repair previously deteriorated plumbing not associated with the work defined in this scope is excluded. •Upgrading bathrooms that are not ADA compliant to meet such standards is excluded. •All warranty replacements of material when the contractor is not on site during warranty period shall be installed by Customer. •Temporary toilets are excluded. •Major adjustments to wall hung toilet carriers to accept new fixtures are excluded. •Enhancements to fixtures that are not covered in existing plumbing code are excluded. •Remediation / replacement of floor or walls that are damaged due to existing leaks, etc. is excluded.
