3. The Ice Rink will not open as scheduled due to the warm weather. <br /> 4. The Tree Crew has trimmed 71 trees,removed 24, and 41 storm damage locations have <br /> been cleaned up. <br /> X. Presentation by Felicia Easel- City Cemetery <br /> 1. Ms. Easel gave a presentation to the Board concerning the project to digitize the records of <br /> the City Cemetery as well as the history and challenges facing the facility. <br /> Mr. Goodrich commended her on her presentation. He asked that the Park Board initiate <br /> the process to get the cemetery on the National Landmark Registry. He said he would <br /> speak with Director St. Clair regarding this. <br /> XI. Comments by Development Director <br /> 1. Mr. Payton reported that the new Activity Guide was delivered for distribution. <br /> 2. A meeting was recently held concerning the Active Youth Initiative we are involved with. <br /> Several consultants were in town to discuss this program. <br /> 3. The Park Foundation is initiating a holiday appeal through Downtown South Bend. <br /> 4. The Park Foundation is considering an event at the Greenhouse this winter. <br /> XH. Comments by the Assistant Recreation Director <br /> 1.
