1. Mr. Dyszkiewicz reported that the graffiti program has removed graffiti at 400 sites <br /> this year. <br /> 2. Maintenance is preparing for the Blues Festival this weekend. <br /> 3. At the Conservatory, landscaping, irrigation and paving will be done soon. The <br /> windows will be whitewashed to allay the heat problem in the building. <br /> 4. All the splash pads are running except the LaSalle Park pad. Parts are on order to replace <br /> some vandalized parts. <br /> 5. Planning for the Potawatomi Park splash pad has hit a snag and some alternate ideas <br /> are being looked at. <br /> 6. He hoped to be soliciting bids for the Ice Rink soon. <br /> 7. Fencing for the softball field at King Center will be installed starting tomorrow. <br /> Mr. Goodrich asked what the estimate for the Ice Rink repairs would be. Mr. <br /> Dyszkiewicz thought it would be around $800,000. Director St. Clair said that there were <br /> many options to explore as to which components need fixing or replacement. <br /> X111. Comments by the Development Director <br /> 1. Mr. Payton distributed the sponsorship report and reported on the recent Park Foundation <br /> board meeting. <br /> 2. The CAPRA accreditation visit will take place in July. The members will be staying at the <br /> Oliver Bed and Breakfast thanks to the owners offering a discount for their stay. <br /> 3. For the Superintendent's Golf Outing, Jimmy Johns will be providing lunch and Texas <br /> Roadhouse will be providing dinner. He thanked them for this. <br /> 4. The Active Youth Initiative Committee meets tomorrow. <br /> XIV.
